Using tape to create center lines

At Naismith school, only the center court has a permanent painted line to mark the center of the court.

In order to facilitate judgement of whether a serve is landing in the correct area, we can tape a center line on the other two courts.

Green painters tape is provided in the Naismith equipment bag. Volunteers should apply this while the nets are being set up. And applying the tape earns you the right to play in the first game on that court!

At the end of the night it is ESSENTIAL that we remove the tape. So if you are part of the group taking the nets down, please also remove the tape from both sides of both courts.
